my precious

could not sleep properly the nite before and that was a sign that i was getting obsessed with it. there's only one solution to this. i went out with my wife to get my "bling bling". to add to the urgency of things, i heard in the market that there was going to be a price adjustment to align with the rising u-roll and that adjustment was to be done sometime in march! that does not leave me alot of time then to decide or to shop around. and if this wasn't bad enuff, almost most of the places i visited did not carry that particular model and when they did, the price was not discounted due to the high demand of that particular model. *gosh* i did finally find one place that sold it but the service was much to be desired but in the end, it was the end product that mattered to me and i just went ahead and purchased it. i can say now that i am a happier person (i think!) and hopefully a more rested one too! some people collect bugs... i collect bling bling's.

Here's some details about it
Model: GMT Master II
Reference: 16710
Series: F
Movement: Caliber 3185
Water Resistance: 330 ft./100 m.
Case: 903L grade Stainless steel
Crystal: Synthetic sapphire

Notes: The original GMT Master was created back in the 1950's in conjunction with Pan Am airline as a tool to help their pilots who frequently crossed time zones. The Master II was introduced in the mid-1980's, and eventually replaced the original GMT Master (discontinued in 1999). Purists have great affection for the GMT Master II as a tool watch with a great history and tradition among professional pilots. The F series does not have holes at the lugs and has SEL (Solid End Links). It also comes with the new security feature i.e. laser etched crown at the 6 0-clock position.
