asp.net v2.0

just completed a "discovery" course into MS latest toys i.e. SQL Svr 2005 and VS.net 2005. Can't say much about SQL05 except that it's...ABOUT DAMN TIME!. several new toys and stuff in there.. nothing to shout (maybe there is, but since I was told told about it.. I don't know any) about but it's good to know they are finally releasing an update.

VS.net05 kinda shows the fancy features in asp.net.v2.0. Again, alot of cool stuff and pratically everything is drag&drop. Not that I don't like that... but it kinda makes you wonder, if its SO easy, then why bother paying so much $ for a expensive developer? well, it's up the the seller to paint a complicated story and the client to decide if that's BS. One thing to complain about. vs.net is such a bloatware. I remembered that the earlier versions took almost 1 whole day to get it installed..crazy. anyway, gonna try installing this version on my aging notebook and see how it goes.

sticker problems...

A Hong Kong woman has sued Rolex, alleging a watch she bought caused her psychological trauma because she had to wear long sleeves to cover up an itchy, unsightly skin rash triggered by a label on the underside of the luxury timepiece, a newspaper reported Thursday.

Lee Ka-wai filed her claim in the Small Claims Tribunal, seeking the equivalent of $7,145 Cdn in damages, the South China Morning Post said. She purchased the Rolex Oyster Perpetual, worth $4,570 in August 2004, the newspaper said.
